What is the true definition of beauty? who defines beauty? and most importantly what is not considered as beauty and why? These are quite a few questions that i would like to socially address. Over the years and also in today's society, i have noticed how beauty have been categorized and defined as
"light skin",
"straight hair",
"long hair",
"slim" and the list could go on but when was the true definition of beauty altered specifically to include body features? The one thing Google cannot define is a person's beauty and its so sad that even today men are using ethnicity along with the body features of mostly lighter colour females to define the true beauty of
all women. We were all made differently because we are all beautiful in our own ways and the fact that you men who are of the same skin colour as us women who you deprive the title of "beauty" because of the shade of our skin is beyond sad and degrading. Men who do this are the real problems of society and the real oppressors. Beauty should not be centered around "looks" because there are so many other characteristics of a woman that defines her beauty and let me just say this, my beauty does not depend on your perspective of beauty but your opinions do matter to most women and that is why this needs to be addressed and STOPPED! If our own men wont embrace our diverse beauty then who will?
